Ade was the icing on the cake for me very resourceful and patient. He made sure he explored all avenues for me to have my meal. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Thank you 805
I felt like I am home. The food was really nice and tastes really good. The environment was neat and the staff were friendly. I used their restroom and it was really kept clean
The servers were professional and very polite. The share plater which sold for £22 was not fit for the price. They had tiny spring roll, that I wondered how they can put such on the plate and bring it out. Two of us ordered the Tilapia grilled fish at £20 and found that the fish was not freshly made as it was hard and not nicely steaming, as would that freshly made. Otherwise everything else was perfect. The fried rice and amala were epic ???? ????
Been to many Nigerian restaurants and this was good. Food did not take to long to arrive, staff was attentive and fast. No complains
It’s seriously one of the best food we’ve ever tasted. It’s so authentic, a very distinct smoky flavor , the condiments completes the whole amazing meal. We’ve been back a few times now and each time, we are very impressed. The service is very very good, Ade is very polite and friendly . This place is highly recommended .
The food was amazing. It took long to arrive but was definitely worth it. I'd advise you have something to eat before you head there. Lovely, clean, relaxing atmosphere and wonderful service.
Slightly pricy but very comparable to other restaurants in that neck of the woods. Also, it would be nice if they serve ẹwà rírọ not just ẹwà agoyin. Just my preference I guess ????
The food was 10/10 and the gentleman that attended to us was so helpful and welcoming. We ordered pounded yam as takeaway and it was wrapped in such a way that after three hours, it remained warm enough to enjoy. I’ll definitely go back there.
Thank you Emilia for making last night so special. The Nigerian restaurant experienced at 805 will be something I will always remember. It was definitely a fine dining experience and I would rate them high up on the list for top restaurants in London to visit. Everything was well thought of from the furnishing right through to the presentation and and the cleanliness of the kitchen staff. Everything was immaculate! Very professional and up there with the Delaunay’s and the Wolseley, which why they can do very well.
Loved the nkobi and suya I don't know the name of the soup I ate but it definitely wasn't Oha as requested. The edikakong was just okay nothing exta about it. Good ambience, lovely staff
Food was great. The wait time is horrendous. The appetizer did not come out to us after 50mins. Please improve your service you have good food.
The grilled fish was really nice and tasty. Excellent customer service too. Highly recommended
First time here. Great customer service. Monika was lovely and juicy. Manager was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This was our first time here and I was very impressed with the service and the food was amazing. It was worth the wait. We had the Monika and it was the best one I have had to date. We were served by Busi and the manger who were very attentive and accommodating. Lovely evening with great friends. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We were served by Seun, Tania and Anthony. The service was very excellent and the waiters were very friendly and approachable. The food was also a 10/10 so I highly recommend!!!
805 used to be a lovely restaurant with Nice African cuisine, a lovely atmosphere to relax and converse with friends. Of late, this has been missing so it nice to see it under a new management and hope he with his vision and drive can bring the good old days back with panachè
The jollof and fried fish dish was delicious always consistent with the food here
Excellent food as always. Staff always attentive. Good for lunch or dinner. 805 number 1 naija spot in London. Guys and girls keep doing what your doing !
The food was amazinggg!!! Felt like home from home. Definitely recommend the jollof rice and fried fish, chef’s kiss!
The Manager was amazing, fantastic in service, customer relationships was very great
Excellent service, egusi soup with fish and pounded yam. Orkra soup seafood. This are my favourite. Test cooked with clean hand and clean mind. I can't wait to celebrate my birthday there in 2023
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some nig classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.
First time trying west African food, and I was blown away. I had the bean patties (complimentary), Fanta, and chicken with jollof rice. Amazing!
One the most conducive place I've eat in I find the settings very captivating relaxing at same time and of course great food and neatly prepared. I strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a classy dining place in Reading ????????
